    Tools for MEE

Can anyone explain what these tools actually do?

      1. SBFSVIEWER.exe - When I run it, it only shows me the total space and free space? Does it do anything except that?

      2. Database excerciser bat file ?

      3. Attrview.exe? This is for attribute view and export/import. But when I run it, it gives error.

      4. Setfilter.exe? What it does?

      5. list.com?

      6. Icomp.exe?

      7. FMAN?

      8. BootVIS.exe?

don't use it - depreciated in favor of WinTech

          2. Database excerciser bat file ?

makes some work for the back end systems - read the script for info.

          3. Attrview.exe? This is for attribute view and export/import. But when I run it, it gives error.

lets you switch between compressed and uncompressed database mode, and unpack objects - don't use it unless you're told to.

          4. Setfilter.exe? What it does?

installs an upper filter for the disk, again, don't use it unless you need to (ie, never).

          5. list.com?

          lists a directory?

          6. Icomp.exe?

          packs and unpacks files.

          7. FMAN?

          it's a file manager

          8. BootVIS.exe?

shows you the boot tables of a drive.
