MEE architecture changes with ePO integration?

Just curious if the integration of MEE into ePO will have any architectural impacts that can be disclosed. I would imagine with ePO's tighter AD integration (particularly 4.5) that the concept of cycling an LDAP connector will go away?

What about password sync? Will integration in ePO change or simplify password synchronization or will that process stay the same?

Part of the reason I ask is that our portal team is looking at re-engineering some authentication mechanisms in our portal as well as password maintenance pages/processes. I was thinking this would be a good time to look at leveraging MEE API's to see if we can streamline password managment on the MEE side. But if ePO integration significantly changes how this is handled we may just wait.

      Thanks.
