which policy are you trying to get it to pick up?
If it does not detect that the user has a policy assigned to them, it will apply the policy dictated when the install set was made.
Different users have different policies. Some are allowed Mem Sticks some aren't.
The problem is that sometimes it will pick up their policy and sometimes it won't.
usually its due to naming differences between their Windows ID and EEM ID.
the two need to be identical if you're not using EEPC as well.
I understand that, but why would it work some days and not others. Also, I can log into one machine and it works and log into another and it doesn't.
no idea sorry. if it works, it should work. If you force a sync does it pick up the policy then?
No. If i force a sync it still comes up with the default policy.
Sometimes if I unistall the software and reinstall then this can solve the problem for a short while.
