It seems to freeze on "Rootkit Started".
When I right click and scan "My Computer" everything is cool. But when I try to do a basic stand up scan then it freezes.

It does tend to linger at times but your interface is the old version - are you totally up to date?
If you obtain the software through a 3rd party then the old interface may be all they have at the moment.
Can you please tell me what version of SecurityCenter you have by clicking About at the bottom right?
I have the latest McAfee. It just updated yesterday and everything.
I have version 16.0 R7
My Security Center is 16.7

This "getting stuck when scanning for rootkits" is an old re-occurring problem which is best dealt with by Technical Support.
I recommend phoning them via THIS link. But first you might want to run the Virtual Technician to see if it finds and can fix the problem

Well then, unless a technician happens to spot this first I would call Technical Support, it's free of charge.
