    bat file being blocked

    oliveirar

      Hello!

I'm new to the forum and new to McAfee's solutions, recently the company implemented McAfee ePO server and everything went great, but now our developers created a bat file whose purporse is mapping some network directory, and set it in windows startup folder. Bat file excute perfectly when End Point Security: Threat Prevention is disabled, but as soon we turn it on  it starts blocking the Bat.

Log says  Machine1\data ran Explorer.EXE which tried to access C:\Users\Users1\APPDATA\ROAMING\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS\START MENU\PROGRAMS\STARTUP\map.bat, violating the Rule "Resgistering of programs to autorun", and was blocked. For information see KB85494.

I have included the Bat file on Access protection exclusion, and even included C:\Users\Users1\APPDATA\ROAMING\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS\START MENU\PROGRAMS\STARTUP\*.* , but I have no success.

      Infos:

      Machine win7 x64

      Agent installed

End Point Security 10.5 : Threat Prevention Installed

Any idea how I can create a rule to stop this file from being block?
