"EEPC has been corrupted" and encryption cannot be removed

I have a corporate Dell E7250 laptop and the other day I got a black screen with the message "EEPC has been corrupted" (it was only this message on the black screen) and was not able to boot the laptop.

When I went to IT support they said it was a problem with the Mcafee and wanted to replace the drive but I need the local data I had on it.

When the IT support is trying to remove the encryption, the following error message appears:

"file system not found / to use this drive partition has to be formatted"

The drive is a 2 yr old SSD.

Anyone has any idea on how to proceed to recover the data?
