There's no way to do an unattended ePO install, I'm afraid :(
Thanks for the feedback Joe... But you're kidding me right? In this day and age you're telling me there's no way to automate this?
Has anyone else tried this before???
It's not that lengthy of an install and in most cases, EPO is going to be installed in one or just a few locations depending on your environment.
simple question - by ePO you mean ePO server and console (web interface) or agent?
The ePO server/console... the agent installs are simple enough to automate. I'd like to automate the install of the DB/configuration of ePO for one of my customers.
I'm going to reach into a bag of tricks and try to automate with an old tool called the "SMS Installer".
If anyone has any better ideas please let me know.
Thanks again for everyones help.
Understood and I agree. I just want to eliminate any possible way the install could get "hosed up". Not that I don't trust my customer's IT dept.... happy
