    EPO 4.0 Emails not sending

      My EPO 4.0 (patch4) is not sending emails properly.

      It received the events from the client, but only sends emails when I restart the ePolicy 4.0.0 Event P****r service. (Usually a ton of emails when it restarts)

      If i send a test email from the gui it works fine.

      Any ideas?

          I would strongly encourage you to call McAfee support about this, as I have a similar problem with Automatic Responses in ePO 4.5. I've had Tier 3 and Tier 4 support working on this issue for over two weeks now, and they think they may have a fix for it. I know in ePO 4.0 it's called Notification Alerts, but I wouldn't be surprised it's a similar issue to what I'm experiencing.

          If you go into the following folder are there a bunch of files (TXML specifically)? If so, then there's a problem processing events on your server.

          *\Program Files\McAfee\ePolicy Orchestrator\DB\Events\

            There are about 800 files in that folder.
            .evt .PKG and .xml files

              Call support then. They had me install an updated extension for Automatic Responses (aka Notification Alerts in ePO 4.0), and that did resolve my problem. Perhaps they can provide you with a similar solution.
