We are in an RDS (terminal services) environment and considering our options for authentication.
We are using 2012R2 for our user RDS environment.
The Client Proxy documentation only lists Windows Vista, 7, 8, and 10 as being supported.
1) Will the Client Proxy approach work in an RDS (terminal services) environment?
It needs to send the customer ID and AD security groups of the current user.
2) Does Client Proxy only filter browser traffic (e.g., Chrome, IE, Firefox) or ALL network traffic?
Talked to support today - they said Client Proxy IS NOT compatible with RDS. Only other user-based policy option is SAML (unless each of your users has a fixed IP address).
