Sure would be nice if McAfee's automatic process worked with 7zip created archives.
Try following these Instructions/Guidelines; What To Do When McAfee Detects Software As An Infection - How to Submit To McAfee Labs & Appeal
And if over 10mbs submit to Virustotal.com and get the MD5 hashes.
I appreciate your help catdaddy but the issue is 7zip archives allow viewing the file names contained within the archive but don't allow the decompression or viewing of the file content without the password. So McAfee's automated submission system doesn't work with one of the most popular archive utilities in use today even if you follow all the guidelines. Shouldn't have to submit the hashes, they have them, with the first part of the MD5 in the Artemis! name!
