Process for Email Delivery scan and On-Access scan

I have a user that complains that "some" mcafee scans are causing CPU spikes. The times that he references correlate to when the On-Email Delivery Scans and On-Acces scans kick off.

if i were to look at the process manager in Windows, what are the two exe files that correlate to these two scans?

      Thanks

Well normally "on-access" scans are happening every time you accss files etc. - assuming you have it enbaled for read/write etc. - so I presume you are referring to spikes when accessing large files whicgh take longer or large numers of files.

The OAS activity is normally seen as McShield.exe - not sure about the mail scan component but logically I'd still expect that to be provieded by McShield.exe....
