      Using McAfee LiveSafe.

LiveSafe places a file entitled JTSettings.plugin into quarantine and thence disables the program entitled JTAlertX. The program is a useful adjunct in amateur radio operation and is known to be safe by users. There have been recent reports to the software author that this problem has affected many radio operators trying to use the program.

Restoring it from quarantine yields a working program until the anti-virus scans it and quarantines the offending file again. There seems to be no way to "whitelist" the file or identify it as safe.

Any thoughts about how to overcome the disruption?
