Are you running the lastest pachtes, updates?
I'am only managing servers, so that policy's are quite different, so I cant show them to you. I can help you diagnose the issue
I see spikes in my computer of CPU usage at 100% for about 5 minutes, then all is well.

The ePO agent is running in quite an high memory. Please post the ePO agent logs here.
They are located in [drive]:\Users\All Users\McAfee\Common Framework\DB.
The file is named Agent_%computername%.log
You can also view the ePo Agent logs this way:
http://localhost:1232 (if the ePO agent is managed by ePO)
forums won't let me attach files to the postings...
Perhaps you can copy/paste the logs. Or else create an case at McAfee Support for solving this issue.
How much memory in the client PC's ?
i have 3gb in my machine.
on a side note, i have submitted a service request with mcafee, and i'll post the results here when it is all fixed.
We've historically only seen such issues on low memeory clinets e.g. 512 Meg. and upgrading to a minimum of 1 Meg has resolved the majority of cases by resolving the "overdemand" for virtual emmorty.
