Have you looked at the know issues articles? There is a known issue with performance of MACC 8.0 due to the usage of SHA2.
Yes we saw the known issue article. reading the bad performance is "works as designed" however does not solve the unnaceptable performance impact we are experiencing.
Judging by McAfee's lack of attention to these forums I'd say they don't really care, which is really sad. You'd think they would assign a few folks to respond to these threads at least periodically.
I would check the article again since there's a workaround posted at the bottom as well as a statement that they are investigating the issue.
As for the lack of response from McAfee, keep in mind that this is a community forum, offered free for anyone to use. While you will see some employees comment, their priority will be to work cases submitted using a grant number available to their customers.
