That's because you have only deployed McAfee Agent but not VirusScan.
You have to create a new deployment task where you will select VirusScan to be installed
Would it be to much if I ask you to show me quick step-by-step how to?
Well i looked at this tutorial and there is a problem. When i come to the step when i want to create new client task and push the viruscan.
Name: PUSH VIRUSCAN
Type: Product Deployment (McAfee Agent)
Created at: this node
Target platforms: marked WINDOWS
Products and components:
I can select only:
System Compliance Profiler 2.0
Epo Agent 3.6.0
**** There is no Viruscan to select? And why not?
Thanks for all the links i will look at them.
Do you maybe know is there any server pack for epolicy orchestrator?
Or which is the last update, or maybe even better do you know the link for service packs
Ok, I have done this. But found out a new problem. Damn, problem after problem. Neverending story I guess.
I have followed your suggested tutorial: https://kc.mcafee.com/content/tutorials/epo/ePO4_jg_613845.htm
I wanted to check in the viruscan enterprise. The first problem was I didn't know where should I search for the installation files for viruscan, later I found out that I have in my folder: C:\Program Files\McAfee\ePolicy Orchestrator\Extensions a lot of zip files, soo I have chosen VIRUSCAN8600.zip, although I'm not sure if this is the last version of it. After I click next I receive an error: Package missing required pkgcatalog.z file.
That's just the product extensions files I think - you need to download the AV package itself from the McAfee support website and you will need a valid support contract with an associated GRANT ID key to get download access to the product opackages you are licenced for.
