why agents only update from master repository?

maybe someone here can help me with this big problem

we just update from epo 3.6.1 to 4.5 with agent 4, virusscan 8.7 and other programs.

we are having the following problem with some agents:

  • a remote office has it own superagent repository
  • some agents after the update from 3.6 to 4.0 only try to update from master repository and not from local superagent repository
  • agent policy for that systems are configured that they only search for its local repository
  • i tried ping time, subnet distance, and repository list and no success

checking a system files, i found that inside serversitelist.xml the local superagent repository was checked as disable.

i copy the files related to force a siteinfo update(sitelistxml, reqseckey.bin and srpubkey.bin) and works for a moment

now again is looking only for master repository

i tried, uninstalling agent, deleting folders, reinstalling........ and the same problem

what else can i check to force that this agents update from its correct repository and not from master repository?

thanks for any help

Re: why agents only update from master repository?

The Agent_<machine>.log and McScript.log in the Agent Data folder may provide some clues as to why the repositories are being skipped. If you set the agent policy to repository list then it should be trying to update from the SuperAgent repo.
