upgrade from epo 4.6.7 to 5.1.1 issue

I have performed the migration as per the article to move from 32bit system to 64bit system

epo is up I have all my clients pointing to it

if I try and upgrade to 5.1.2, 5.1.3, 5.3.1 they all fail

with an epo leafnode error

if I try and put in an extension I get this big error
