Re: need to migrate EPO from one server to different server

Hello @User23364383 ,

To migrate epo to new server there you can follow this article :

How to migrate ePO from a 32-bit system to a 64-bit system (or to a different installation path)
Technical Articles ID:   KB71078

but again, the backup and restore process requires to restore the database, you have to make sure to install the patches manually as it wont get installed automatically.

Re: need to migrate EPO from one server to different server

Hi User23364383,

Any applied Hotfix/Patches will not be copied in backup files. Hence before you migrate, please check what are the hotfixes you applied on existing EPO server and then migrate to new Server after that install all hotfixes one by one.

What version of epo?  If 5.10, I would suggest reapplying the CU update that you are at with repair option.  The easiest way to do the migration to new server is to follow the epo guide for using the snapshot recovery feature.
