We have install McAfee Agent 4.5 patch 3, VSE 8.7i patch 3, DLP Agent 9.0 patch 1 on our company, Almost all client use Windows XP SP3, Some use Windows Vista SP2. All windows xp Client McAfee Agent 4.5 is show icon on the system tray. Some of Vista have problem to show McAfee Agent icon. The odd thing is when user use have local admin account access PC didn't show icon, if use other no local admin account access PC do show icon. All client have DCon it, so where should I check with it?
Is this only occuring over RDP? If you access the client machine locally is the icon displayed properly?
By design we do not display the tray icon immediatly on RDP sessions; however, if you open the agent status monitor on the RDP session it should pop up.
