manually update master repository

Hi All,

Is there any alternate manual way to update the DAT file into master repository (Current) folder without using McAfee ePO console.

Thanks in advance.

Re: manually update master repository

No, it must be checked into the repository either via an epo server pull task or checked in manually.  The contents of the repository are logged in the catalog.z with their hashes in the replica.log files.  You cannot manually add files to the repository folders as the hashes will not match and the catalog will not get updated properly.

To add to this, if you simply want to check in a package without having to use the console, then you can use the webAPI commands (specifically repository.checkInPackage).
