Im taking over support of our ePo environment and attempting to clean up the current state of the ePo console. currently all managed machines are under one group which makes administration difficult. Id like to seperate this out into the difference areas of my organization . I would also like to create a seperate dashboard for each deparment so I can quickly monitor the various areas . how can I create data monitors or queries for each deparmenet based on a subnet address or an IP range? I was also considering using TAGs but wanted some feebback and other suggestions.

you can create a query for respective dashboards where filter is a computer's primary or secondary group name (for example "System is in group or subgroup"). You can use this query filter for any types of query on managed nodes or events.
The same applies on filters with IP ranges. But I thought you had groups on IP ranges anyway.
