On a Win 10 machine right click on shield, then click McAfee Endpoint Security, then down arrow, settings. The settings here is where I want to change. Currently Full access is selected, but i want to change this to standard access. I tried to do this EPO 5.9.0 but with no success. The following is what i did: Created a subgroup in the system tree called ENS Settings, highlighted the subgroup and choose assigned policies tab, then for product i selected Endpoint Security Common. Under policy I clicked on My Default, clicked duplicate, rename to test ENS settings, selected standard and entered password, save. I selected break inheritance and locked. I then moved a PC to this subgroup and selected wake up agents. But no change in settings on PC. Did I miss something? Thanks

Have you tried upgrading the agent and ens? Otherwise, I would recommend opening a ticket with McAfee so we can look at data.

On wake up did you set tick on?
Force complete policy and task update |
all the time, yes.
Is the ens settings interface still open? It won't change till you close it and re-open the settings. If that is still not changing, check the agent logs for any policy enforcement errors or failures of the agent to recognize ens installed and/or running. What version of ens? There are some issues with ens and the agent, where ens can take too long to respond to the agent. Some of that is resolved in the latest agent versions where we added a delay to compensate for that. I would suggest running the latest agent version as well as ens.

I closed the setting page and no change, did not see any errors in log. ENS version 10.5.4.4029
I see it enforcing policies for the agent and dlp, but none for ens, which means that ens and the agent are not communicating to each other. I would try either upgrading the agent and ens or remove/reinstall ens to see if it resolves.
