epoAgent on Mac

Jump to solution

Hi,

I'm trying toinstall the latest epoagent (V.4.5.0 +SP2) for Mac onto a Mac
I follow the installation instructions but I'm already stuck on finding the "install.sh" file
There is no file called "install.sh" on our repository

The only files  are
c:\Program Files\McAfee\ePolicy Orchestrator\DB\Software\Current\EPOAGENT3700MACX\Install\0409\

05/11/2011  06:18 PM         9,228,670 MFEcma.dmg

05/11/2011  06:18 PM             1,692 PkgCatalog.z

05/11/2011  06:18 PM               884 Replica.log

05/11/2011  06:18 PM                 0 reqseckey.bin

05/11/2011  06:18 PM             3,371 setup

05/11/2011  06:18 PM             6,636 sfx.sh

05/11/2011  06:18 PM             1,176 SiteList.xml

05/11/2011  06:18 PM               412 srpubkey.bin

05/11/2011  06:18 PM           126,976 unixpkg.exe

05/11/2011  06:18 PM           110,420 unz

I also tried following an instruction video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wYm9FCuIGF0&feature=PlayList&p=0AFA72946802D77E&playnext=1&playnext_f...)

But then I get an error "An unexpected error occurred" when I try to Create and Download agent installation package"

How do I get the agent on a Mac without "install.sh"?
Isn't there really any way to get the agent on a Mac via the epo Console or any other remote way?

Many of our Mac users are continiously on the road and their technical knowledge doesn't reach far enough to let them install it themselves.

kind regards

Dave

and voila there was the install.sh file
