ePo IP exclusions

Hi, I was just wondering if there was anything with ePo that would allow the exclusion of certain Devices by IP that don't have an agent installed from being affected by a client task from running every 4 hours between 04:00 and 21:00 random every 3hr 59 mins?  During this time we have some terminals that get affected when this client task is enabled (they loose about 3 pings every 5 minutes).  If we disable the task the affected machines don't loose a ping at all.

Re: ePo IP exclusions

, if a system is not being managed by ePO, typically there is no communication. i think you need to refine your target systems and fine tune the schedule. if you are somehow able to see "unamanged" systems in your ePO, you can tag them and in your client task configuration, specifically exclude them in your task configuration. hope this helps.

Re: ePo IP exclusions

You can't do what you want.  If you don't have a McAfee Agent installed on a client system, you cannot manage tasks on that system from ePO.  You would need to install the Agent to manage those tasks.
