ePO upgrade from 5.1.1 to 5.9.1

Hello All,

I am plannig to upgrade ePO from 5.1.1 to 5.9.1. So, which is the best way.

Upgrading to 5.3.3 and then 5.9.1. 

can you please provide a suggestion and KB articles related to this.

Please look at KB86693 for supported upgrade paths. 

Download the latest version of pre installation auditor and run through it as well as the install guide for the version you are going to.  With 5.9 and 5.10, there are cipher suite/tls requirements on sql and epo servers that must be met.  The pia tool will show you what you need to fix before doing any upgrades.  KB71825 is also a good checklist to go through, but the pia tool catches the bulk of that, though maybe not everything.

Either version you go to, be sure to install the latest hotfixes, especially for 5.10.
