ePO Query for Extension Versions installed and Package versions in Master Repository

Jump to solution

The McAfee Dashboards include an "ePO Summary" dashboard that shows Repository Package Status.  The dashboard may be duplicated and edited, however, the monitor is not accessible to use as a query.

Also, there does not appear to be a query to allow export of the ePO version, HotFixes, and versions of all extensions installed.

Does a query for current branch repository and extensions versions exist, and if not, is it possible to easily gather that information from an ePO?

Is direct SQL query a better approach?

I am using ePO 5.9.1 and also 5.10 (upgrade transition in progress).

Thank you

For extensions installed, you can query sql directly.

select * from orionextensions

for the master repository contents, you can go to master repository in console, actions, export table.  If you export as csv, you an open that in excel to get a list of everything checked in, versions, and branch.

As far as hotfixes go, for 5.9.1, there are several hotfixes that only update a few files and the build of epo is not changed.  Your best bet with that is to document every hotfix that is installed when you install it to keep a record.

In 5.10, there are updates and server information in server settings shows what CU is installed, if any.
