ePO Policy to prevent User from accessing Endpoint Security Tray

Hi,

Anyone have an idea or steps on creating a policy on ePO to prevent users from accessing the McAfee Endpoint Security Tray/Panel?

Re: ePO Policy to prevent User from accessing Endpoint Security Tray

Hi,

how about "Endpoint Security Common" -> "Options" -> "Client Interface Mode" -> "Lock client interface"

I can´t think of another way from within ePO.

Best regards
Dan

Like the gentleman above listed you can go into the ENS Common policy>options>Lock Client Interface. If you want them to see nothing from the icon tray you can configure the McAfee Agent policy>General>Show the McAfee system try icon (uncheck). Then if you need to pull it up again for troubleshooting you can just open cmd and path out to cmdagent and run the /s switch.
