Hi all,

Tony
Hi tony2,
Check core-install.log and MSI install logs which will give you a hint for the failure. Is it a fresh installation or upgrade from older version. I would suggest please open a service request to find the root cause for the failure.

Just adding to the below thread, confirm if the SQL server supports TLS .

below thread?
Hi tony2,
Sorry i meant to my previous post which went up on top of my new thread. Let me consolidate all information in one thread. The information which you posted is very limited and it is very difficult for us to tell what went wrong. I would suggest you to open a SR to find the failure.
However, you can check core-installer log under (%temp%\McAfeeLogs\ePO5100‑Troubleshoot\MFS) which would give you some hint for the failure.
Another thing you have to check EPO5100‑Install‑MSI.log which contains the primary installation log. Contains installation details such as installer actions and installation failures. Moreover the installer error which you see next to "Property" in MSI.log file, you can safely ignore which is not the actual error. If you have difficulties to find the error, please log a SR to troubleshoot further.

"the host mcafee-storage-:8443 is not valid"
There is a dash after storage that isn't valid in the hostname, which seems to be a typo somewhere in the install when hostname was entered.
