ePO Authentication Users

Jump to solution

ePO 5.10.  have added three users that authenticate using ePO.  neither user, however, shows up in the ePO user directory.  I need to add one of them to the PBFS on all systems (firefighter) so we can get through PBA.

Why would they not be showing up?  What have I missed?

It didn't work but I found a work around -- i'm just using a domain account for the firefighter. it works for now.

Do you have update2 applied to 5.10?  How specifically did you add them?  Are they able to log into the console?

Yes - update2 is applied.
Menu|User Management | Users | New User
authentication type is "ePO authentication".
Yes - they can log into the console.

Are they a global admin or use a specific permission set?  If you go to a permission set that they are assigned to, under users, do they show up there?  If they are a global admin and you go to users in a permission set, are they checked as belonging to that permission set?

Also, if you use a different browser, do they show up?

Unfortunately, I can only use edge on that system. Due to a certificate issue, IE will not allow access to the site.

Global admin.
They do not show up in any permission set.

That is very strange.  We have had instances where update2 did not fully apply though it says it did.  Try running the update again, remove it and reinstall and see if that resolves it.  If not, we will need to get it to dev to see what is going on, which would require opening a case.

Sorry - i was mistaken. When i go to edit a permission set, I see the users are already checked (the view on the permission set says 0 users so that's what I thought). Does this reply make sense?
