Re: ePO 5.9.X to ePO 5.10.X on a cluster environment

@LKS I just tried netsh winhttp set proxy "my proxy name and port used" "<local>" the command is executed. Again while running the setup, it throws the same error 😞

Re: ePO 5.9.X to ePO 5.10.X on a cluster environment

Did you try to bypass "local" via command line from that article. Seems proxy is not bypassing local.

netsh winhttp set proxy "Proxy Name:port used" "<local>"

When you run the below command, does it return like the below one.

netsh winhttp show proxy

Expected result :

Proxy Servers: serverproxy.com:8080
Bypass List:  <local>

Can you enter the FQDN of your proxy server in the IE settings and ensure you selected "Bypass proxy server for local addresses" and then try again.

Re: ePO 5.9.X to ePO 5.10.X on a cluster environment

Adding to this, what does the log says when it tries to connect https://epo.mcafee.com:443.

Does it resolves it. Is it able to connect successfully. Are there any error when it tries to reach the above site.

Re: ePO 5.9.X to ePO 5.10.X on a cluster environment

Sorry for not responding, I was out of office for the holidays.  It may show that response to just that page - can you get to https://epo.mcafee.com/productcompatibilitylist.xml in the browser from the epo server itself?  It should show a list of product codes and compatibility info.

Do you have an SR open for this?
