ePO 4.6->5.1 upgrade

Jump to solution

Hello everyone,

After our ePO upgrade from 4.6 to 5.1 my default agent handler remains inactive en show an old version:

server.domain.local

169.254.243.45

server

192.168.25.11

2/24/14 9:01:45 PM

4.6.6

.

I replaced our real fqdn by "server".

As you can see, it show an apipa address, and also an old version of ePO.

Creating a new agent handler doesn't do anything, it doesn't even shows up in the agent deploy task when i want to deploy the agent to a new device.

I checked the nic on the server, i have only 1 nic active, which i gave teh ip in the public ip as you can see above.

This didn't do anything either. I can ping a client though.

anyone an idea?

Regards,

Hello,

I found the solution myself in the meantime.

It appeared that the tcp port mentioned in de core config file and the tcp port in the sql config manager did not correspond.

I filled in the same port but in the dynamic field, but afterwards this changed. so i needed to fill in the right tcp port in the "fixed tcp port" field.

This led to a successfull start of the agent handler and epo server.
