ePO 4.6.8 Best Administrative Practice

Hello,

I'm new to the forum and recently took over an ePO environment which raised a couple of questions.  I've scoured the web and haven't satisfied my questions so I thought I would bring them here.

1. What is the best practice for not only dealing with duplicate system names but more importantly, preventing them in the first place?  I'm assuming there is some sort of matching criteria that would indicate a duplicate?

2. What is the best practice for DB maintenance, not only on the sql server itself but through server tasks as well?

Thank you,

PSG

Moved to ePO for hopefully faster response.

For question #2, i put together the attached document a while ago. It lays out maintenance plans, and ePO server tasks you should be running.
