ePO 4.6.6 DB/Events Folder Full

All,

I am running ePO 4.6.6 ( it is in the process of being updated to the latest version) and no matter what I do, the disk the the ePO program files are on always fill up. It is on a drive that is over 250GB and I cleared 120GB of space out of the DB/Events folder.  I have gone through the speel of updating the extensions and I have an ePO task that purges old events. The db is on a seperate server that is in the same subnet as the ePO server; as far as I can tell there doesn't appear to be any issues with data writing to the database. Am I missing something? Is this a bug undocumented in ePO 4.6.6 that would be resolved by updating to the latest version?  This is a build that has gone through various upgrades starting from ePO 4.5.3 and I'm wondering if it would be best to do a clean build.....

Re: ePO 4.6.6 DB/Events Folder Full

check out page 91 here https://kb.mcafee.com/resources/sites/MCAFEE/content/live/PRODUCT_DOCUMENTATION/24000/PD24875/en_US/...  this will tell you why its struggling to parse events.  your epo/sql server could be underpowered....there are countless questions that need to be answered like what else is the sql box doing, are there other dbs on there, how is the read/write performance etc.  then you need figure out if there are any specific events that are overwhelming your db...import this dboard https://community.mcafee.com/docs/DOC-2995 into your epo server and see which events are crushing your db and filter them out so they never make it to epo in the first place.....thats also in the bp guide.
