ePO 4.0 and Remote offices (VPN)

I have a central site of about 100 PCs/Servers and 50 remote sites with about 1-5 computers per site (connected to my central location via VPN routers).

Is it possible to push the ePO agent to these remote locations or is there another way I can manage them?

RE: ePO 4.0 and Remote offices (VPN)

We have 235 remote sites and each site has about 5-10 clients at each site.

We have a Desktop (which acts as a server) and use these as distributed repositories, so the clients update from these, instead of HO. This frees up a lot of bandwidth.

If you have more than 30 repo's then you need to get an agent extension from Tier 3 to stop the time out errors you get when accessing the agent policys

Have you got a KB article on that issue so I can Sticky it?

RE: ePO 4.0 and Remote offices (VPN)

I installed the extension prior to EPO Patch 2, so i dont know if P2 fixed the problem, but the kb is 614041

It would take about 15 minuets to access each agent policy, so you can imagine it would be very frustrating.
