communication ports between 2 ePO servers

Hi all

i have 2 ePO servers S1 and S2. they will control 2 different groups of clients.

however, S2 will download updates n definition files from S1 and S1 n S2 are separated by a firewall.

i would like to confirm what ports are required to be open for the communication to happen.

Re: communication ports between 2 ePO servers

As I mentioned in the other thread, the preferred way of doing this would be to have a distributed repository on S1, and have S2 pull from this repository.

That being the case, the ports you will need to open depend on the type of distributed repository you set up on S1: if it's an HTTP repo, then port 80: 21 if it's FTP, and so on.

Regards -

Joe
