would u please help me how to fix this problem?
I am sure there is no log on this path.the folder of these path are empty
C:\Program Files (x86)\McAfee
also I think I should remove guid from registry but I refer to this path [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Network Associates\ePolicy Orchestrator\Agent\]
but there is no GUID , and in the services.msc I only have mcafee epo agent install and I can not stop it because it is automate.
I didn't ask about the two folders you mentioned. I specifically asked about C:\Windows\Temp\McAfeeLogs. Is there anything in that folder?
The two folders you mention are where things get logged *after* installation, and where program files go. During install, it logs to C:\Windows\Temp\McAfeeLogs.
Ok, so it sounds like the installer isn't even launching. That with the info above makes me think there's a problem with the Windows Installer server. What operating system is this on? And you could try enabling Windows Installer logs using this article, and see what it tells you. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/223300/how-to-enable-windows-installer-logging
