Why do I lose the ability to login to ePO everytime I change the domain admin password?

We have an ePO 4.5 server installed on a Windows Server 2008 R2 machine.

Our password policy requires password changes every 45 days.

For the 2nd time now, we have changed the admin password and lost the ability to login to the ePO server.

Specifically, the error message on the login screen says:

The license for ePolicy Orchestrator is invalid

Failed to load license data.  To enter a new license, go here.

I can click the 'here' link and enter our license and it indicates that it was successfully entered.  However, it then just dumps me right back into the login screen with the same error message as above.

45 days ago we had this issue and resolved it by going to http://localhost:8443/core/config .  As I recall there was a field for us to enter the new password.

Now, however, when I try to go there, it just returns me to the logon screen with the same messages.  The URL is:  https://localhost:8443/core/config-auth

Can anyone tell me why this happens and how I can get into the ePO configuration file to update our domain password?
