Virus Definitions Package

Hello,

I have a McAfee EPO 4.5 server, and I have a clients with VSE 8.5 and 8.7 installed, my environment has no access to the internet, what I used to do is go to the below link, click the packages tab, download the latest file, go to the represotory on my server, load the package there, and then it would be distributed to all clients.

Now when I am accessing the same link, it says that the link has been changed and moved, then it directs me to a page which is totally deferrent, I was able to find the security updates page, but I am not able to locate the package update, it is usually a file named "avvepoXXXXdat.zip".

Please help.

Old Link : http://www.mcafee.com/apps/downloads/security_updates/dat.asp?region=us&segment=enterprise

Re: Virus Definitions Package

Either there's a problem with your region, or the link has been corrected. I can access the current AVV file directly here:

http://download.nai.com/products/DatFiles/4.x/NAI/avvepo6202dat.zip

which is linked off the page above.

Re: Virus Definitions Package

The same link http://download.nai.com/products/DatFiles/4.x/NAI/avvepo6202dat.zip. You can see in my images the path the same link you posted. Now I think you can download file for use

Re: Virus Definitions Package

Wow guys, how did I miss that?!!!

I have accessed that link, but the EOP 3.0 thingy confused me, I thought it is for older versions, thanks a lot, I really appreciate the help

Take care
