Using EPO 4 and Agent to run script on Client

Hi All

i seem to remember reading on these forums that someone had written a VB script or somethnig such as that and had managed to package it into EPO and execute on clients managed by EPO.

I would love to create a script to move the final 100 machines that are talking to an old EPO box onto the new one, as the initial FrmPkg.exe delivery method is not working on these boxes, and also, pushing the agen is not an option as certain services are disabled on these boxes.

If i could create a script to execute the FrmPkg from a network drive on these clients, then it could over write itself and move to the new server.

any ideas what i am on about?

J

this has given me an idea too

the McAfee Agent 'Post-update options' :-

Enter an executable to run after an update completes:

might try this too

UPDATE:-

tried using the above method, to try initially to run calc.exe. Did not work 😞
