The product guide for 5.10 has instructions for transferring systems.

So far so good. I install a new EPO 5.10, and transfer policies, tasks and systems from old EPO 5.3.1. I have 100+ clients, and manage to push agents to 70% of my clients now.

EPO is modular and easy to migrate. Great system!

Re: Upgrade to EPO 5.10

Hi,

I notice I have issue after upgrading. On client computer, Mcafee Monitor Agent shows that:

Framwork Service having error; agent failed to communicate with ePO; Failed to upload package to ePO Server

Re: Upgrade to EPO 5.10

Further to my findings, I uninstall Mcafee ENS and agent from one computer. Then I install Mcafee ENS and agent, and the same "uploading error" found.

I miss out something on EPO server; Certificate? Please help.

Re: Upgrade to EPO 5.10

Please open a ticket with Mcafee for the communication failures.  There are many causes and solutions, it all depends on what the epo server logs show as well as agent logs for the failure reasons.

Did you use "transfer systems" option? If so, I hope that you went through the migration KB. Beside the tasks, policies,... you have to migrate security keys.

I did not transfer security key....

Any article on that...

Thank you in advance

@geoseng You can refer to this article KB79283. It is pretty easy to follow.

I hope this resolves your issue.

Cheers!!!!!!!!!
