Upgrade ePO from 5.9.1 to 5.10

Jump to solution

Our client is looing at upgrading their ePO from 5.9.1 to 5.10.

Together we were reviewing KB90383 and product compatibility.  For DLPe it says product version and extension for ePO hase to be at 11.0.5.  If the client installed DLPe extension 11.0.5 had in mater repository 11.0.5.  We were wondering if we had the endpoint at 11.0.4 would this cause an issue but had everything els ein ePO at 11.0.5 would this cause an issue?

We wonder if 11.0.4 can be managed by extension 11.0.5.  Or is the client better to upgrade the endpoints to 11.0.5 before upgrading ePO 5.10?

Whatever versions are in the repository aren't the problem, it is the extension that needs to be compatible.  Yes, the higher version of the extension will manage the clients with a lower version, so you do not need to upgrade the clients first before upgrading epo.
