Re: URL used by Artemis

One of my colleagues has kindly pointed out that this is not in fact correct

Artemis uses DNS requests and responses, and so does not use the proxy at all. For the same reason it does not use the ePO server.

For more information on checking the availability of Artemis, please see KB 53734.

Does it use the Internet Options settings for proxy, and if so am I correct in assuming it would use the current user's log on details to connect, or does it go via the ePO server?

To the best of my knowledge it uses the IE proxy settings and will try to make a direct connection - it won't go via the ePO server.  (Disclaimer: I am not an Artemis expert )
