The DXL Client for ePO is not connected.

Jump to solution

I have a task that tries to run called "Send DXL State Event".  This is failing with the error "Failed: The DXL Client for ePO is not connected."

I cant seem to find any instructions on what to check or how to fix this.

Yea, dxl is not related at all to deep command.

If you have no dlx brokers in your environment, don't worry about it.  If you recently installed the 5.6 agent, it installs dxl on the client also as part of the agent.  If no brokers, it will sit idle, but it will be utilized by epo for wakeup calls and things like that.  A broker is not required.

Nevermind...I dont think this is relevant to us, but correct me if im wrong...

The DXL is uses to check on other devices that have the have this special application...
I dont have any of these special devices to my knowledge...

I was thinking this was part of the Deep Command Discovery feature used to collect more detailed info about my clients (OS, CPU type, etc...)
