Solaris managed by ePO

Jump to solution

Is there a way to manage Solaris anvitvirus from an ePO console? I´ve found that it is possible to install the agent, but the agent does not support the antivirus solution.

Correct, there is no 'Linuxshield' or VSEL equivalent for Solaris.

If you are specifically looking for AV Scanning on Solaris then VSCL is the only option.

The Solaris Agent is for management of Solidcore via ePO. (Application Control), and I think also HIPS (Host Intrusion Prevention for Server).

Rob.

No, that is not possible.

As you say the agent does not support the Command Line Scanner (on any OS, not just Solaris).

Hi Rob, thanks for the answer.

Just to confirm. There is no LinuxShield or virusscan enterprise linux version for Solaris, right? That´s why Command Line Scanner is the option.
