Sensor-to-server communications port. Where can i find the setting.

Jump to solution

Hi

The port is configured at ePO installation time but subsequently does not show up on the ports configuration page on the epo console. Where can i get the value?

Thank you

Markus

Hello Markus,

this port can be found for example in the epo database in the table eposerverinfo (for epo 4.x) in the column SensorSecureHTTPPort.

Per default this port is 8444 - you also can find the port in the server.xml file.

Rene

Me again.

There must be a naming confusion at the 'Ports'-level. The port i've found in my DB shows up as 'Client-to-server authenticated communication port' on the ports configuration page from the console. McAfee considers this to be the 'Sensor-to-server communication port' (https://kc.mcafee.com/corporate/index?page=content&id=KB66797&actp=search&searchid=1259067593558'. Are these the same?
