In our environment it can happen that a Windows computer name changes. Than I have two entries in the ePO the new computer name which has a newer last communication date and the old which has an older last communication date.
How can I delete such multiple entries.
I use ePO 5.3.2 and 5.3.1
Create a query (name SysDup), Mananged Systems, under filter/System Name: Is duplicated and Last Communication: Is not within the last 3 days (or whatever). Save/Run and confirm results.
If results are good, create server task, under actions: run query, choose the Sysdup with sub-action delete systems and a schedule of your choosing (hourly, daily, weekly ...)
If this has been helpful/answered mark it. This will help others when searching the forum.
Download the new ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) Support Center Extension which simplifies ePO management and provides support resources directly in the console. Learn more about ePO Support Center
