Remove Old Patches from Master Repository?

Jump to solution

I'm hoping this is a quick and easy question (perhaps it's even a dumb question)...  I'm gearing up to deploy VSE Patch 3 in our environment.  Currently, I have Patch 2 and Hotfix 517265 in the Master Repository.  When I add Patch 3, is it safe to assume that I delete the previous patch and hotfix from the repository?  If so, should that be done before or after Patch 3 is added to the repository?  ...Does it matter?  If there's another community thread or KB on this subject, please feel free to point me in the direction.  I did a few searches but came up empty handed.  Thanks!

Yep, should be perfectly safe to remove them: doesn't matter when

Just as a follow up...  As soon as I added VSE Patch 3 to the repository, Patch 2 and Hotfix 517265 disappeared.  Apparently, Patch 3 takes care of the cleanup all by itself.  Thanks!
