Registering a different ePO server

Hi All,

Quick one, I have a master ePO and wish to connect other ePO servers to it. Could I use an SQL account with read only permissions in an attempt to reduce the risk or would I need full DB owner rights for the roll up tasks etc to work ?

Regards

Five premission are required.

Write

Read

Insert

Delete

Copy

So make sure the assigned SQL user have these premissions.

It depends on the type of rollup that you're doing, but in reality you're going to need at least dbo. This is because a lot of the rollup processes need to run stored procedures, which needs Execute privileges. If you only have Read, then I would imagine some classes of rollup reports will fail.
