RSD and X11 Message

I get this message when my McAfee ePO v4.0 Rogue System Detection agent scans a Windows PC running X-Win32. Has anyone ever seen this before?

do you have "Device details detection" enabled in RSD policy if so then create an exemption for that machine in the policy

Thanks for the reply. Yes I have "Device details detection" enabled. I'll try adding it to the exceptions and see how that goes.

I'm afraid that (in ePO 4) adding it as an exception will not prevent it from being scanned. The only way to prevent this is to turn off the scanning function in the RSD sensor policy.
In ePO 4.5 you can - you can tell the sensor not to scan sytems marked as exceptions, as well as particular IPs or ranges.

Thanks for the reply. We'll have to make a choice re: To scan or not to scan I guess. It is only a minor issue for a very small number of users. Is there a recommendation to scan for device details or not? What are you doing? Do you scan for details or not?
