Query where I can see which systems are WITHOUT protection for me.

Jump to solution

I am just stupid.

I am trying to build a query where I can see which systems are WITHOUT protection for me.
However, I seem to have a board in front of my head because I just can not get this query.
Can someone help me here?

Hi Roberst,

Try this, using the 'agent versions summary' query to get a 'number' that represents the count of devices ePO manages, and so confirm it matches what you expect for your estate.

With that 'number' see if the following query gives you the same count of devices:

Login to ePO > Menu > reporting > Queries & reports - click 'New Query', then;

1. Managed Systems
Retrieves information about systems that have been added to your System Tree.

2. Chart Type
Select the way you wish to see this data presented to you.
For speed of creation I used:
- List > Table

3. Columns
Add or remove 'columns' showing what you wish to see. (Machine name etc)
(I used 'System name' - 'Installed product' - 'Last communication time')
(Also allows for devices to be listed you know you manage but are missing certain products you though they had!)

4. Filter
Browse the left list and browse to 'Products Property' and add 'installed products'
Define the filter
Installed products - Value is Blank
Click '+' and add
Installed products - Value is not Blank
Should list all systems ePO has an active agent installed and the current products.

5. Click 'run', not 'save', and if the results are acceptable, click 'edit query', change/modify as needed to get data as needed.

Click 'save' when you are happy with the data returned.
